핑퐁팀 ML 세미나, 그 시작

ML 리서치 사이언티스트들의 첫 번째 세미나 발표자료 묶음을 갈무리하여 올립니다. 본 세미나는 2019년 5월 8일부터 2019년 6월 12일까지 진행되었습니다. 첫 세미나의 주제는 아무래도 기본을 닦는 것이 좋다고 판단해 대화 시스템 (Dialog System)으로 선정하였습니다.

사실 리서치 사이언티스트들이 자연어처리에는 익숙해도 대화 시스템, 특히 일상 대화 시스템에는 익숙지 않았습니다. 그래서 대화 시스템의 전반적인 느낌을 알아보고자 첫 세미나는 가볍게 진행하였습니다. 논문과 함께 실제 대화 시스템의 사용 이력이나 일반적인 대화 시스템의 구성요소에 대해서 살펴보는 시간을 함께 나누었습니다.

마치며

돌이켜 생각해보면, 대화 시스템에 대해서 어느 정도 감을 잡을 수 있었던 귀중한 시간이었다고 생각합니다. “어떻게 하면 말을 잘하게 만들 수 있을까? 어떻게 하면 재미있는 대화 시스템을 만들 수 있을까?” 저희는 늘 이 고민을 하고 또 합니다. 아마 고민을 계속하다보면 이것이 결실을 맺을 하나의 초석이 되는 것이 아닐까요? 한여름의 세미나 자료를 봐주셔서 감사합니다. 다음번에도 더 좋은 자료로 찾아뵙도록 하겠습니다.
